Auxiliary Police Officers Reserve Police Officers Constables Communications Center


Auxiliary police officers are non-paid volunteers. They participate in a program that involves classroom and field instruction in such topics as criminal law, criminal procedure, constitutional law, motor vehicle law, department rules and regulations, department policies and procedures, OC defensive spray, baton training, and handcuffing, among other things. Auxiliary officers are allowed to ride-along with the department’s full-time officers.
