Residents who have not yet registered to vote and wish to be eligible to vote in the upcoming July 21st Special Town Election have until the Final Voter Registration Session scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. to register. This session will be held at the Town Clerk’s Office in the Town Hall located at 3 North Main St., Assonet. Registrations are also accepted Monday - Friday at the Town Clerk’s Office between the hours of 9AM-4PM.

Mail-in registration forms may be requested by calling 508-644-2203. Residents registering to vote using mail-in registration forms, must have their forms postmarked no later than July 1st in order to vote in the July 21st Special Town Election. No names can be added to the Voter List except to correct omissions made by clerical error or mistake after 8:00 p.m. on the final registration date.
