Absentee ballots for the Special Prop 2 ½ Town Election are now available at the Freetown Town Clerk’s Office. These ballots are available for residents who were registered to vote on or before the July 1st deadline. To qualify to vote by absentee ballot the voter has to be unable to vote at the polls on election day due to the absence from town when the polls are open or have a physical disability preventing them from going to the polls. Applications requesting an absentee ballot may be filed until 5PM on July 18, 2008.
